An expert in the field of food and nutrition, Wellness Chef Eric Stein, MS RD is an alumnus of Johnson & Wales University where he received his Bachelor of Science degree in Culinary Nutrition. Chef Stein also holds a Master of Science degree in Nutrition Education from Eastern Illinois University, and is a Registered Dietitian through the American Dietetic Association.
Working in resorts and spas in Oregon, California, Arizona, and Mexico, Stein has crafted his own style of cuisine that includes the use of global flavors, seasonal ingredients, and nutrient dense foods. The combination of his culinary expertise and dietetic registration is reinforced by Stein's passion for spreading the awareness that food can be both delicious and nourishing.
His mission to help bridge the components of food, nutrition, and healthy lifestyle led to the formation of Enlightened Flavors, LLC, a consulting company that provides food and nutrition services to consumers, spas, and restaurants.
Eric lives in Denver, Colorado where he teaches nutrition and culinary arts. He also serves as the Colorado State Vegetarian Nutrition Coordinator for the American Dietetic Associations Vegetarian Nutrition Dietetic Practice Group, and is a member of the board of advisors for Operation Frontline Colorado.
